Inspira 4B engine from Mitsubishi. There are three models that set up the 1.8-liter manual transmission and 1.8 liter and 2.0 liter CVT CVT transmission. 1.8-liter engine while the other is coded 4B10 4B11. 4B10 engine producing 143ps and 177lb-ft of torque.
Why Proton do the same thing as was done 20 years ago, when Proton newborn. At that Proton uses Mitsubishi technology. According to Proton, the reason is purely business considerations. Sedan is in the C-segment where the number of consumers who can afford to buy a car in this class is more limited. Also still have to compete with other players such as the Kia Forte and other Japanese cars.
Proton wants to sell less than 2000 units per month for the replacement of this face.
